5 stars . Just good breakfast overall. Has a granny feel inside. Oakwood and Tiffany stain glass everywhere with high ceilings. The hashbrowns are delicious here they add onions to the mix. Digged it a lot. Great spot for simple breakfast. Portions are not overly big just right. Service was good too.

Walker Bros was highly recommended to me and they did not disappoint. The service was quick and attentive. The food was amazing. Portion sizes were huge. The ambiance is that of a dive and had a lot of character. I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the recommendations to other businesses in the area.

Always fun to get Dutch baby pancakes or just any pancakes here with all the different flavors available. This place has efficient service so it's great for a quick meal but probably not a chit chat catch up dining experience

Grew up in north shore, one of those breakfasts spot you start coming as kid with your grandparents then parents.. friends then your kids. True family breakfasts spots where you grow together. Personally feels like I know the menu back and forth.

Went to the "original" Walker Bros Pancake House in Wilmette, IL. First came here around 1980. Hasn't changed much, except for the prices. Still keep ordering the caramelized apple pancake each time, my favorite. Met my old college roommate here, as I was passing through the Chicago area. Service was good, although it seemed better decades ago. Still really like the decor, with all the stained glass panels.

This is my first time at this location. We have omelet mushrooms and meat lovers. I love the sauce on the mushroom. We didn't have to wait for our food to arrive. It's cozy bright . Isn't coffee refillable? I have been to their brance on Glenview, and the wait staff there keeps pouring every time she sees its almost empty . Here, no one came to ask if we needed more? Not even when we're done. We were just handed the check . But hey, no one is perfect. But at least good service ? Anyway we had a good time

My favorite breakfast place -- I always have a good meal here! I don't know what magic they put in the scrambled eggs, but they are so creamy and fluffy! The hash browns are crispy and flaky on the outside with hot and tender inside. You want both of these -- then get The Continental and you also get a stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes and drink of your choice. Now that I'll devoured that, it's time for a nap!

Food at Walker Bros is always fairly good. They are on the higher end price wise for breakfast/brunch. The breakfast healthy medley that I got is really good. I really enjoyed the oats on top of the pancakes. It was a delightful texture combination in my opinion. The service was great and attentive to our table. My only complaint which is not food related would be that it was fairly tight in the front when waiting. Because it is a Sunday morning I understand that they will be packed but it was very difficult to wait in line since there is not a lot of space. The front waiting area is narrow. But I really enjoy coming here for breakfast even when it can get really crowded in the morning.

Went to Walker Bros for breakfast with the family after a long time and it's still so good. The HP location is my favorite to go to. The staff is friendly, the wait is always reasonable, and the food is always great. For a party of 3 they sat us within 5 minutes and they even gave my son some crayons and a maze to color on. For food we split a few things. The Blueberry pancakes were so fluffy and delicious, I recommend to throw a bit of their blueberry compote on there as well. The spicy has browns with habanero cheese and pico de gallo is one of my favorite things to get here and it's always so flavorful and does a good job balancing out the sweetness of pancakes. We also had sausage links and bacon. Both were really good. The links are solid, but their bacon is my favorite, it's the right thickness and perfect blend of meaty and crispy. We also had some of their fresh squeezed OJ which is a must every time.

Came for Christmas Eve breakfast. Surprised it wasn't busy. I'm in a wheelchair & told them & they saw. There were 5 of us adults. They first tried seating us at a booth in the nook that seats 4 with me on the end blocking people in the walkway & the table is for 4, it was too small. So I told them it was a fire hazard & it was too small. They said it would be 45 minutes. Surprised since it wasn't full but ok. A few minutes later a table was ready for us. If you know walker bros you know everything comes in it's own plate so with 5 ppl we needed a big table. Once the table situation was over the food was great! It's been quite a while and it was exactly as I remembered! The Venetian Benedict is my go to & the eggs were perfect! Also ordered well done bacon & it was perfect! Everyone else loved their food!
